What fun!

Photo Week 2005 was an enormous success!  We had 41 participants ... 3 photo pros ... 2 camera pros ... 800 pounds of camera equipment ... and the most target rich environment on the planet!!  What else do you need for a fabulous week?! We had people from California, Texas, Wyoming, Rhode Island, Missouri, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Virginia ... We had people with many years of experience ... and people who had never held a camera! We had new divers ... and old (er ... experienced) divers. We had great diving, great weather, great people, great fun, great divemasters and a great experience. The improvement of the photos from the first day to the last day was impressive!  Everyone really took advantage of the guidance that the pros had to offer.

Photo pros ... Jim Watt and Dave Fleetham returned for their second year with Photo Week.  We were very excited for Clay Wiseman to join us this year, also.  Clay brought an amazing energy and passion to the event.  Jim, Dave and Clay all offered seminars, worked individually with the divers and joined us each day on boats.
Equipment ...  Joe Wysocki (Optiquatics) and Ryan Canon (Reef Photo and Video) provided camera gear and invaluable assistance to each person!  Between the two of them, we have nearly 1000 pounds of cameras, housings, strobes, batteries, accessories, computers, and anything else you could possibly need to shoot photos underwater!  Joe and provided each participant with a 128mb Flash Drive to enable people to transfer images more easily. Joe and Ryan's knowledge of the equipment and their tireless patience in explaining all of it were so appreciated!!
The participants ... were so fabulous.  This is one of the very nicest group of people I have ever had the honor of traveling with.  They had a terrific attitude and a great appreciation for the event.
