Sipadan Water Village is located on the island of Mabul - just 25 minutes by boat from the coastal town of Semporna on the east coast of Borneo.  At Sipadan Water Village (SWV), you will find the excitement of world class diving at a relaxing resort on an island surrounded by beautiful coral, white sand and amazing marine diversity.

SWV is appropriately named as the resort is built on stilts over the water.  Each room is an individual cottage with a private sundeck and deck chairs.  Each cottage  includes ceiling fan, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and private shower with hot and cold water. The entire resort is connected with wooden walkways.  There is a beautiful dining room, an inviting lobby with bar and a well designed dive shop.

There are 4 room types available -

* Jr. Cottage - a bit smaller than the Standard Cottage
 * Standard Cottage - 2 twin beds or a king bed - approx. 700 sq ft
 * Deluxe Cottage - a king bed and a bathtub in addition to the shower
 * Grand Deluxe Cottage - 2 queen beds plus enjoy a hot tub on your private deck

The dive shop is well designed.  Plenty of space for briefings, gear storage and dive planning.  Many hours are spent in the dive shop either planning a great dive or sharing stories about the great dive you just finished!  There are many fish i.d. books available for use.  And, there are always divemasters nearby to answer questions about an interesting fish that you've seen or something you want to see!
